2 weeks after the move and I think I'm finally starting to get situated. I'm starting to hang things on the walls, making curtains with Big Sis, and constantly rearranging furniture. My beef? Trying to come up with a cohesive look. I have lots of little odds and ends - some metal, about a zillion different colors of wood, and a mish-mash of furniture styles (tranditional, 60's mod, country). I just prefer to say it's "eclectic" so that it sounds better. Any suggestions of how to make all of these styles come together? I could seriously use a few ideas.

ur doin good. i've been in my place for 3 yrs and my walls are empty. well, they weren't at the beginning, just since we remodeled last yr. ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm still trying to get mine together. I decided to wait till after the holidays to bring out my regular decor.
ReplyDeleteIt's your first apartment on your own, it's supposed to look eclectic. Just remember that most of the furnishings and stuff didn't seem to mesh well (but for some reason looked good!) in Friends either.
