Summer Dreaming: Strawberry Daiquiri

Over the weekend, it was a toasty 45 degrees... of course that quickly changed to below freezing and we ended up with a few inches of snow last night (Booo!). Hmmm... let's hope it's the onion snow. But, as I walked into work Saturday afternoon there was a slight breeze and it smelled of spring. *sigh*

So, here's to spring and summer thoughts, and fresh fruit wishes....

Ingredients
    • 1 ounce fresh lime juice
    • 3 ounces frozen sliced strawberries in syrup ( or fresh)
    • 1 -3 teaspoon sugar ( or to taste)
    • cracked ice
Directions
  1. Fill a blender with cracked ice. Add lime juice, strawberries, and sugar. Blend until smooth. You may add a little water if too thick. Pour into a chilled glass.
  2. Garnish with an extra strawberry or an orange slice. Enjoy!
**Just add rum to give your cocktail a lovely touch at the end of a tough day ;P
